Pondicherry Roller Skating Association
Registered in 1998 and affiliated to the Roller Skating Federation of India since 2011, PRSA governs and develops roller sports across the Union Territory of Puducherry.
Pondicherry Roller Skating Association (PRSA) is a registered association bearing Registration No. 152/1998, with its permanent address at #100, Kamaraj Salai, Puducherry - 605011. It is the recognised State Roller Skating Association functioning in the Union Territory of Puducherry.
PRSA has been affiliated with the Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI / India Skate) since 2011. RSFI is the National Federation for roller skating in India, recognised by the Government of India since September 1990 and thereafter by the Indian Olympic Association. RSFI has been affiliated with World Skate — the international governing body for roller sports — since 1971, and is a founder member of World Skate Asia (1978).
PRSA has continuously organised State, National and developmental skating activities in Puducherry under the guidance and affiliation of RSFI. The association presently consists of 10 permanent affiliated clubs and 2 temporary affiliated clubs. Between 2011 and 2025 its skaters have won 308 medals in National Championships, while also representing India at Asian and World Championships.
As the main skating authoritative body in Pondicherry, PRSA manages Speed, Artistic, Roller Hockey, Inline Hockey, Inline Freestyle, Inline Alpine, Inline Downhill, Roller Derby, Roller Freestyle, Skateboarding and Roller Scooter, along with the registration of skaters, technical officials and trainers.
